Dan Wills is a cinematographer by trade, and a Photographer by merit. Passionate about his video work, the soul is always in the image.

The still image is where a personal attachment can develop. A single image says, "look at this" while moving images will say, "look at this, and this and this." Leading a viewer down paths and tunnels focusing their eyes on certain ideas and emotions. It is much more manipulative than the still.

There is value in the still image, stopping for a walk around in your own head without being told what's next. Akin to the solitude felt on a lonely immovable mountain.
